Visit This Haunted Land for details of the following paranormal investigations carried out by the team. Come on in, and explore our supernatural heritage. Maybe you might want to join the team?

This Haunted Land is a non-profit organisation featuring many photographs, video clips and sound recordings. Many of these include possible supernatural activity. The investigations cover England, Scotland and Wales, with special attention to Cornwall. Looe, on the south coast, can boast many a ghoststory, phantom and spooky goings on, so the team have plenty to uncover, explore and investigate.

Causeland Station / Near Looe / Cornwall. Ghosts: "the phantom bride".
This investigation takes place at Causeland Station, which is located on the Looe Valley Line. This post-industrial railway runs from Liskeard to Looe, in Cornwall.

Lammana Chapel / Hannafore / Near Looe / Cornwall. The ruined chapel.
A midnight, and silent, investigation uncovers supernatural activity at the Lammana Chapel. Across the water, St.Georges Island, (otherwise known as "Looe Island") also boasts an ancient chapel. Are there paranormal connections between the two? And, what is the "Beast of Hannafore"?

The Midland Grand Hotel / Kings Cross / London / England.
A once grand hotel in ruins. The famous hotel has played host to the Harry Potter movies, Batman and The Secret Garden, but does it also shelter ghosts? The phantom of a chambermaid has been sighted by workmen. A lonely figure stalks the hallways. The hotel is soon to re-open, will the ghosts depart, or enjoy the new company?

Jamaica Inn / Bolventor / Bodmin Moor / Cornwall.
The famous moorland Inn is legendary for its ghosts, phantom horsemen, ghostly landlord and bumps in the night. The hotel rooms are a favourite with ghosthunters and paranormal specialists. The cellar has played host to the Most Haunted team, who had a frightful time. Daphne Du Maurier may not walk the dark corridors, but someone does! Will the team find out who? Or, will they survive the 'scampi in a basket'?

Kilminorth Woods / Mill Pool / West Looe / Looe / Cornwall.
These ancient woodlands have never been investigated. Our three man team got much more than they bargained for. A terrifying time. Beyond the tourist town of Looe, with its bright lights and chip shop smells, the woods tower over the Looe valley. Quote: "Witches? Ghost witches? I have no idea, I'm afraid. Why? Because I was afraid."

Minster Lovell Hall The DoveCote / Oxfordshire
Our first photographic encounter with the paranormal. The Dove Cote at Minster Lovell Hall, in Oxfordshire, on Christmas Day prompted the creation of This Haunted Land. Take a look at what started it all. The ruins are spectacular, and thought to be haunted by Francis, (9th Baron) Lovell, who died alone, and in fear, in the vaults beneath the hall.

Carnglaze Caverns & Rumstore / Near Liskeard / East Cornwall
The cold, damp and dripping caves known as Carnglaze host musical concerts, fairs and spiritual markets. Beyond the obvious charm, would we find a ghost or two? The shadows could hide many a phantom, or earth spirit, but would we locate them? Donning hard hats, we ventured deep into the earth....

Dunstaffnage Castle / Near Oban / Western Scotland
An ancient, and beautiful keep is transformed at night. Reports of re-enactments, and phantom soldiers bring the team to the Western Isles of Scotland.

Bodmin Jail / Bodmin / Cornwall
Executions! Death! Misery! Well, it is a prison. Or, I should say "was, a prison". Do any of Bodmin's unfortunate inmates still stalk the cells, and dusty corridors. The 'This Haunted Land' team welcome a new medium to the location, before all hell breaks loose. Quote: "They are enjoying this. There is a game being played. They are daring each other to do things."

Murrayton House & Monkey Sanctuary / East Cornwall
A fog shrouded day to explore a haunted house. Our medium has plenty to decipher, while the gardens hide a secret. As the days events unfold, the team experience possible time travel, ghost dogs, and unnatural chill and unexplainable lights play around the gift shop. Tourist attractions have never been so much fun!

Cnoc Fada Standing stones / Dervaig / Mull
A lonesome, and distressed, figure has been seen at these ancient standing stones on the Isle of Mull, in Scotland's Western Isles. Philip and Jonathan travel to the island to investigate the puzzling story of "Flinty Nichols". The ancient site offers a unique atmosphere, which our fearless two find hard to endure.

Talland Bay The Church, overlooking Talland Bay.
Talland Bay can boast smuggling legends, a vicar in league with the devil, an ancient 13th Century church tower, and an amazing atmosphere. The team went hunting, on a blustery spring day. Strange noises, light effects and phantom smells. The church is stunning, and some long gone parishioners may refuse to leave.

Smugglers Cave / Penrocks / East Looe
Beyond the warm comforts of The Jolly Sailor, the team must investigate the cave at Penrocks. A deep, dark and damp hollow, which proceeds into the earth itself. Our medium senses a fussy ghost, by candlelight. Quote: "Nearing the cliff, we all became immediately aware that we were crawling with black flies".
